Mr. Such is the former managing shareholder of the Creditors' Rights Department of Fein, Such, Kahn & Shepard, P.C., and former head of the Foreclosure and Bankruptcy practice groups for both New Jersey and New York. He concentrated his practice in the areas of mortgage foreclosures, secured creditor bankruptcy litigation, eviction and sale of institutionally owned real estate, as well as general equity banking and real estate litigation.
Through Mr. Such's efforts, Fein, Such, Kahn & Shepard, P.C. has become a nationally recognized leader in professional service and time frame control for the judicial state foreclosure practice. In addition, he is one of the few attorneys in New Jersey to be selected by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") as a Non-Judicial Foreclosure Commissioner; which gives him the power to conduct non-judicial foreclosures of certain government loans.
Mr. Such has lectured and spoken extensively at numerous industry conferences and lending institutions over the past four (4) decades; including guest speaking at Mortgage Bankers Association Servicing Conferences, ALFN training, Legal League 100 Conferences and Default Attorney Group (DAG) events.
Mr. Such is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and co-founder of the Mortgage Foreclosure Sub-Committee of the Real Estate and Probate Section; he is also a member of the Vermont Bar Association. He is a frequent lecturer and writes articles in areas related to Creditors' Rights.
Mr. Such is very involved in civic work. He has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Samaritan Inn, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable organization servicing the needs of the homeless in northwestern New Jersey for the past twelve (12) years. He's presently serving his second term as President thereof.
