Prior to attending law school, Ms. Klics worked as a paralegal until 2001. Upon graduation from law school, she served as a law clerk to the late Honorable Charles Villanueva, J.A.D. in the Civil Division and the then the Honorable Thomas Weisenbeck, J.S.C. in the Family Part in the Morris County Courthouse, Superior Court of New Jersey. Ms. Klics originally joined the firm as an Associate in 2005 and specialized in Real Estate Transactions, including residential purchases and sales, and commercial, short sale and REO transactions. After leaving the firm for a few years to run a successful law firm concentrating in Residential Real Estate, Kristen returned to FSKS in 2023 as the Principal and Managing Attorney for our New Jersey Real Estate practice.

Throughout her career, Kristen’s continued success is due to her pleasant demeanor and assertive advocacy on behalf of her clients. From her long-standing professional relationships with other real estate colleagues throughout New Jersey, to her frequent contact and communication with federal, state, and municipal authorities, Kristen is an invaluable resource to her clients and co-workers on a daily basis. Kristen well understands the importance of cooperation and open communication with all parties involved to keep transactions together, no matter how difficult or complex. Her continued referrals from clients old and new are testament to not only her dedication, but the quality of the relationships she develops with each of her clients.

In 2011, Ms. Klics was named a Rising Star for her accomplishments in Real Estate Law in New Jersey. She has also completed the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators’ 40 Hour Divorce Mediation Training Program.

Ms. Klics is extremely compassionate with buyers and sellers, and offers a unique and completely approachable personal touch to all of her clients.
