Lisa started her career as a criminal defense attorney working for the Legal Aid Society of New York. As a trial attorney, she represented defendants from arraignment to trial. During her 10-year tenure, she gained extensive grand jury and trial experience and obtained numerous acquittals at trial.

After the birth of her first son in June, 2000, she took a hiatus from the law to dedicate herself full-time to raising her children. During this time, Lisa sat for and passed the New Jersey State Bar.

In 2011, Lisa returned to the practice of law and joined FSKS as an associate. Her practice focuses on litigation of commercial and real property for creditors and other small businesses in both state and federal court. She has an in-depth knowledge of the relevant law in these areas, including the Truth In Lending Act, The Real Estate Settlement Procedure Act, and The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

In 2020, Lisa joined CSG Law as a litigation associate in the Equipment Lease and Finance Practice Group and in 2022 joined the Trusts and Estates Practice Group.

In 2025, Lisa returned to FSKS as a Senior Associate in the Collections Practice Group.

Lisa is committed to the autism community and dedicated to providing better services for adults on the autism spectrum. Lisa’s son, Thomas, is a member of a Special Olympics swim team, and they attend the Special Olympics Games every summer at The College of New Jersey.

Originally from Long Island, New York, Lisa currently resides on Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey with her family where they enjoy swimming, boating, and all lake activities.

• Successfully negotiated a six-figure settlement against a defendant that failed to pay its information technology vendor.
• Obtained equitable mortgage in a foreclosure action where two of the four borrowers failed to sign the mortgage.
• Obtained a dismissal with prejudice against a property owner in a wrongful death action.
• Successfully settled and obtained enforcement of a Commission Agreement valued at over 1.6 million dollars.
• Successfully defeated an action against a bank under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
• Obtained an award of attorneys’ fees of over $14,000 pursuant to Frivolous Litigation statute.
• Prevailed on a Motion to Dismiss claims against a bank under the Truth in Lending Act and The Real Estate Settlement Procedure Act in the Southern District of New York.
