Alan S. Golub Negotiates Multi-Six-Figure Settlement of Federal Civil Rights/Due Process Claim

Alan S. Golub, Esq. recently settled a long-standing federal civil rights/due process claim against a municipality for failing to provide notice to a homeowner prior to demolishing their home. While the municipality had no real defenses, at issue was the proper computation of damages, and whether the homeowner was entitled to the cost of rebuilding new versus the value of the existing home before it was torn down, a difference of several hundred thousand dollars.
